Social commitment

The business principles of biomedis include the obligation to act with ethical and social commitment.  As a successful company it can be taken for granted that we fulfil our responsibilities by donations and non-commercial sponsoring.

Year after year we get requests for donations and financial aid, for instance, press advertising, sponsoring of staff festivals etc.  Although we appreciate these inquiries, we are not able to fulfil all demands of our client base with thousands of customers.

Therefore we prefer to limit our financial contributions to a small number of selected projects where our contribution can have a major impact, instead of giving everyone an equal slice of the cake.

Our financial contributions run into social constitutions, schools and education, animal and nature protection for example.

We do not participate in commercial projects, private initiatives and such, where proceeds run to third parties. It is our goal to help directly.

All donations will be addressed only to organisations that are properly registered, independent, non-governmental and not-for-profit. We do not donate to political and religious organisations.

The total amount of donations depends on the operating result and is redefined annually. Our appeal fund also contains proceeds which are the result in the waiver of Christmas presents for our customers.

The organisations taken into consideration are assessed and selected annually by an internal team at biomedis.
